Examples of EAC's experience:
• Airport owners and the wider region agreed to underwrite new air services when the net economic benefits (income & employment) of those air services were found to be positive despite the inherent unviability of the air services.
• Provided specialist advisory services to the government of a developing nation seeking to understand and review a proposed commercial agreement with a third party airline possessing significant leverage. Our industry insight and indepth analysis of the agreement provided the client government with a clear understanding of the long term implications of the agreement. We represented the government at negotiations with the airline ensuring the maximum concessions could be achieved.
• Conducted a comprehensive commercial and operational feasibility study on behalf of a government aid organisation on the potential for the introduction of an air service to a remote island nation. We undertook an assessment of the likely demand for air services, generating passenger demand and revenue forecasts. Multiple aircraft types were evaluated and a range of operating models and financial scenarios were developed. Associates were engaged to evaluate potential sites for an airfield, which included a geotechnical survey, and airfield performance and regulatory assessment.
