Examples of EAC experience:
• Developed airline start-up plans for client airlines and investors seeking to launch a new airline or subsidiary of an existing airline. Services have included analysis of strategic positioning options for the new airline, network and fleet recommendations, the development of detailed financial projections including airline valuation and assistance with aircraft leasing and/or funding.
• Reviewed a client airline’s existing market position, which resulted in recommendations on the airline’s strategic repositioning. These recommendations were fully endorsed by the airline’s board and ultimately led to the successful recapitalisation of the airline.
• Undertook a due diligence assignment on behalf of a private investment client seeking an assessment of a potential airline acquisition. Our corporate finance team provided an in-depth analysis of the airline and its future prospects, along with identifying a range of risks associated with the acquisition. The client accepted recommendations not to progress with an acquisition offer.
